The SPOT Pursuit USB microscope camera is optimized for fluorescence imaging applications. It is an incredible combination of benchmark performance specifications, cost-effectiveness and reliability. Its compact design, software-controlled fan, and advanced triggering enable direct control of shutters and filter wheels, and, when coupled with imaging software, the Pursuit USB can be part of a completely automated 6-D acquisition experiment.

Its Sony ICX 285 CCD sensor provides high sensitivity and fast frame rates to capture low light dynamic events easily. Its Enhanced IR mode boosts the Pursuit's near-IR sensitivity by 200%-400%, which shortens exposure times by >50-75%. Rounding out the Pursuit’s features is its reliable, carefree Peltier cooling which ensures clean, dark backgrounds in fluorescence images.

The Pursuit camera is ideal for live cell GFP imaging, ion ratio experiments, particle tracking, high content screening, immunofluorescence, and many other fluorescence imaging applications.
